RAINBOW
Have you seen a rainbow
Up in the sky,
Ask Mother Nature
From where it comes and why?
Just to hold us with
Our bewildered eyes,
Or to bring out all the moods
And all the colours of life.
From sorrow to smile
And anger to delight,
Showing us the truth of
All the ways of life.
Making us learn
A lesson worthwhile
How the colour of peace,
That is white,
Holds all the colours together
With a rope very tight.
Teaching us the rule
Of how to unite and how to divide,
It seems God has chosen
His own beautiful rainbow
To show us to live in peace
With different castes and creed.
Existing individually, yet mixing gladly
Giving a picturesque view
That you can only appreciate
But cannot differentiate
When they just mix up
In one colour of peace.
Tell me, have you found
God’s rainbow on ground?
Yes, this is our India
