REPUBLIC DAY
On our Republic Day the mood of India is gay.
Flag is hoisted in each and every school,
It indicates respect for nation and not rule.
All children come out of their houses with flag in their lane.
Through this lesson of patriotism we gain.
In India many happy programmes are carried
With all the sad moments in the heart deeply buried.
Our India is known for non-violence,
So fighting for language etc., should not be carried hence.
We proudly say that we have unity in diversity,
Also point to be noted is that we have adopted fraternity.
So we must be proud of our country
